Disciplinary Actions 

Disciplinary Actions provides a structured way to manage and record employee misconduct or performance issues. Admins can initiate, track, and document various disciplinary steps, from warnings to more severe actions. This ensures a consistent, fair, and legally compliant approach to addressing employee behavior within the organization. 

STEPS FOR CREATION OF WARNING TYPE  #

  1. Go to Open Core Business Suite panel, under “Workforce” Select “Disciplinary Actions” > “Warning types” option.  
  1. Click “Add Warning Type” option in the top right corner.  
  1. Enter the following details:  
  • Enter the name of the warning type. 
  • Enter the code
  • Add a description
  • Select Severity
  • Mention the display order
  • Enter the escalation settings and specify the required acknowledgment days
  • Enable or disable the “Allow appeal” option and specify the number of days allowed for an appeal. 
  • Write the letter template, utilizing the available variables for automation. 
  • Enable or disable the “Active” option to control its current usage 
  1. Then Click the “Create” button.  
  1. The warning type was created successfully 

STEPS FOR CREATION OF WARNINGS #

STEPS FOR CREATION OF WARNING 

  1. Go to Open Core Business Suite panel, under “Workforce” Select “Disciplinary Actions” > “Warnings” option.  
  1. Click “Issue Warning” option in the top right corner.  
  • Enter the following details:  
  • Select Employee 
  • Select the warning type 
  • Enter the subject 
  • Enter the reason 
  • Mention the improvement required & Consequences 
  • Select the issue, effective & expiry date respectively 
  • Enable or disable the “Is Appealable” option if appealing is allowed. 
  • Add HR notes 
  • Select previous warning if there 
  1. Then Click the “Save as Draft” or “Save & Issue” button.  
  1. The warning was created & issued successfully 

STEPS TO ACKNOWLEDGE OR APPEAL THE WARNING  #

  1. Go to Open Core Business Suite panel, under “Workforce” Select “Disciplinary Actions” > “My Warnings” option.  
  1. Find the relevant warning and click on the three dots under the ACTIONS column. 
  1. To Acknowledge the Warning: 
  • Select the Acknowledgement option. 
  • In the confirmation pop-up message, click Yes Acknowledge. 
  1. To Appeal the Warning: 
  • Select the Appeal option. 
  • Enter the Reason for Appeal. 
  • Enter the Supporting Evidence details. 
  • Upload supporting documents if necessary. 
  • Click the “Submit Appeal” button. 

5. The Appeal was given successfully 

STEPS TO WITHDRAW OR EDIT THE APPEAL  #

  1. Go to Open Core Business Suite panel, under “Workforce” Select “Disciplinary Actions” > “Appeal” option.  
  1. Select the Eye icon under the ACTIONS column. 
  1. To Withdraw the Warning: 
  • Select the Withdraw Appeal option. 
  • In the confirmation pop-up message, click Yes Withdraw. 
  1. To Edit the Warning: 
  • Select the Edit Appeal option. 
  • In the confirmation pop-up message, click Ok.
